Potti, k0nfig revealed as HLTV Awards 2025 announcers

Two former Counter-Strike professionals including an HLTV Hall of Famer, have been revealed as announcers for the HLTV Awards 2025. Potti will return to the HLTV Awards stage, this time as an announcer and along with him, there will be former Danish professional, k0nfig, who recently announced his retirement from the game.

k0nfig and Potti joins the likes of ohnePixel and dona as the announcers for the HLTV Awards 2025. One of the sharpest aimers from Denmark, k0nfig had a decade-long career where he represented the likes of Copenhagen Wolves, Dignitas, North, Complexity, Astralis and Ninjas In Pyjamas (NiP), before calling it time late in 2025. Potti, meanwhile, a Counter-Strike legend from Sweden was one of the first stars in CS 1.6 and is also known as one of the co-founders of Ninas in Pyjamas. Potti also won the first-ever Counter-Strike Major, which was the CPL Winter Championship 2001 in Dallas with NiP.

The HLTV Awards 2025 will honour the best of the Counter-Strike scene for the year 2025 and will be held on January 10, 2026 in Belgrade, Serbia.
