Vitality moves into a league of their with most Big Event wins

Astralis overtaken

Vitality's win at IEM Kraków 2026 saw them pick up their first silverware of the year and kick things off from where they left off in 2025. Vitality's win in Kraków also means the #1 team in the world and the reigning Major champions have now moved into a league of their own, getting past Astralis in a unique list.

Vitality's win in Poland sees them pick up their 20th Big Event win which sees the French organisation go past Astralis' 19 Big Event wins, counting trophies in CS:GO and CS2. Founded in 2013, Vitality entered Counter-Strike in 2018 and in the space of 8 years, the organisation has moved to the top of the Counter-Strike world. Astralis, who were the benchmark for organisations and teams for the longest period in Counter-Strike with their four Majors between 2017-2019, looks like they have finally met their match in Vitality. Vitality have three Major trophies to their name, having won the final CS:GO Major, the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 and both Majors of 2025 (BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 and StarLadder Budapest Major 2025).

Ever since signing ropz joined the team at the start of 2025, the apEX-led squad has quite literally been unbeatable, winning almost every single event they have participated in and won both Majors in 2025. The team shows no signs of slowing down with a strong performance in Kraków and will be next seen in action in Romania at PGL Cluj-Napoca.

As per HLTV's statistics, Counter-Strike organisation's with the most number of Big Events trophies are:

  • Vitality - 20 Big Event trophies
