ScarX reach upper-final in PGL Bucharest West Asia CQ
PGL Bucharest 2026's West Asia closed qualifier kicked off with ScarX taking on THE UNIT in a best-of-three. The first map took us to Mirage which was picked by ScarX and the Iranian side were anything but convincing of their pick in the first half. After stealing the anti-eco away from THE UNIT, ScarX lost to a partial buy which ended up costing them an early disadvantage as THE UNIT finished the first half with a 7-5 lead.
ScarX started their T-side with a five-rounds streak, hitting double figures right out the gate. With every single individual stepping up on the T-side, ScarX closed Mirage 13-9, dropping just two rounds in the second half. mrmN topped the charts for ScarX with an ADR of 104 and a rating of 1.82, closely trailed by Dant1k at 1.71.
THE UNIT pulled out of the game and forfeit the match, walking away from the second map citing "scheduling conflicts" with another event. ScarX bagged a 2-0 win and advanced to the upper-final where they might face Indian duo of Bhavi and Ph1NNN if Biryani wins their opening game against Legion.
