Senzu heroics not enough to get Passion UA over the line against FUT
Senzu has suffered his first loss in the Passion UA jersey as the Mongolian star and his team went down to FUT in their 1-0 bracket game at the ongoing ESL Pro League Season 23 Stage 1. Senzu had a slow start to the series individually before stepping up on Mirage to keep Passion UA in the series and finished with series as Passion UA's top rated player with a 1.44 rating and was the only player from his team with a rating of above 1.
Passion UA's Anubis pick was the series opener as FUT start their CT half with four on the trot and barring a couple of impactful rounds from JT and try, it was the FUT half as they went 7-5 up. dziugss took charge on the T side from FUT that saw them ease to a 13-7 win, putting up a stellar T side. After a relatively quiet Anubis, Senzu saw an uptick in performance and the Mongolian was the deciding factor on FUT's pick of Mirage. Entries from Senzu saw Passion UA tie up the opening half on their CT side and they managed to fight back from being 1-5 down to take a 13-10 win as the Mongolian dropped 28 kills to top frag and get his team over the line.
Passion UA brought the momentum from Mirage to Dust2 as they started their T side with a 5-0 start post the pistol and subsequent conversions but with as soon as the guns came out, Passion UA had nothing to offer on a flat T side that saw FUT tie up the opening half. try's Dualies netted Passion UA the second pistol but once again after the conversions, FUT tied up the score at 9-9. Passion UA's defence wasn't able to match the aim of FUT and Krabeni closed out Dust2 with a 1v2 to see FUT take a 13-11 win to lock in the 2-1 win for FUT.
Passion UA's loss to FUT sees Senzu and his team fall to the 1-1 bracket joins the likes of 3DMAX, HEROIC, M80, Monte and paiN in that bracket.
