FengDa, DEPO stay alive at CS Asia Championships 2026 Asia Closed Qualifier

100RA, Blazing Beavers sent home

The second round of games on the second day at the ongoing CS Asia Championships 2026 Asia Closed Qualifier saw two more elimination games take place as DEPO and FengDa kept themselves alive and their hopes of making the main event.

Here's a quick look at the results from the two lower bracket round 1 games.

DEPO hammer Blazing Beavers out of the qualifier

The third lower bracket round 1 game saw buster's DEPO go up against the Australian squad, Blazing Beavers. DEPO's pick of Dust2 started the series and it was one-way traffic as DEPO ran all over the Beavers, picking up an incredible 13-1 win to start the series. It was a similar story on the Beavers' pick of Inferno, despite the Australian team swapping out Jau for snowkey, it didn't make much of a difference as DEPO continued to dominate, going 13-4 to eliminate the Blazing Beavers.

Trash stars for FengDa

The final lower bracket round 1 game saw FengDa take on Mongolian team 100RA with the Chinese team's pick of Dust2 starting this series as well. A neck and neck series Trash step up to get FengDa over the line at 13-10 as the former Rare Atom player dropped 24 kills with a 1.79 rating. 100RA stole the opening pistol on Anubis despite a heroic quad kill clutch attempt from Trash but Rare Atom answered with the force early on to get on the board. The force wars meant that neither team was able take a big lead with 3gl's AWP finding late impact to help FengDa take a 7-5 lead. 100RA did pick up both pistols but clutches from Trash along with 3gl's AWP finding multi-kills helped FengDa pick up a 13-9 win to wrap up the series 2-0.
