FengDa wins ESL Challenger League Season 51 Asia-Pacific Cup 2
FengDa have won the ESL Challenger League Season 51 Asia-Pacific Cup 2 after beating Mongolian team BMZ 2-0 in the final. The win sees FengDa also qualify for the ESL Challenger League Season 51 Asia-Pacific Finals.
The final kicked off on BMZ's pick of Ancient with the Mongolian team picking up the pistol and conversion but that was about it as a strong CT half from the Chinese team saw them take a two round lead and despite picking up both pistols, BMZ fell short in the gun rounds as FengDa started with a 13-9 win. It was a more commanding performance on their pick of Inferno from FengDa. BMZ started Inferno with a retake to lock in the CT pistol before a eight-round T streak saw FengDa run away with the opening half and even though they ended up losing all pistols in the series, FengDa eased to a 13-6 win to seal a comfortable 2-0 win.
FengDa becomes the second team to qualify for the ESL Challenger League Season 51 Asia-Pacific Finals after Morningstar, who won Cup 1. The winner of the Finals will qualify for ESL Pro League.
