ECL S51 APAC Cup 2: Preview

The final list of teams is locked in and ESL Challenger League Season 51 Asia-Pacific Cup 2 is scheduled to kick off this Friday, 20th March 2026. The online tournament will feature sixteen teams in a double elimination best-of-three bracket. Fourteen of these teams were invited based on their positions in the Asian VRS while two teams- Alter Ego and Take me away confirmed their spots through ESEA Open Season 55. The opening round of games will run simultaneously at 07:30 PM IST.

Teams like Morningstar, Rare Atom and Chinggis Warriors will look to secure as many match as possible in order to bag crucial VRS points. These teams are currently sitting out of the IEM Cologne Major invites range with around 900 points and stand a chance to make the cut off with exceptional showings at the next few events.

ESL Challenger League Season 51 Asia-Pacific Cup 2 will hand the winner a Regional Final slot alongside a cash prize of $5,000 USD. The Regional final will put the winners of four Asian and Oceanic Cups in a single-elimination bracket to send one team to ESL Pro League Season 24. Morningstar won Asia Cup #1 and have already booked their Regional Final slot.
