TYLOO go down to FURIA in BLAST Open Rotterdam

BLAST Open Rotterdam is underway and TYLOO took on FURIA in their first match. The best-of-three started on TYLOO's pick of Mirage with the Chinese team starting on the T-side. Dropping just the bonus round, FURIA built themselves a solid 6-1 lead on the CT-side with YEKINDAR and FalleN posting ADRs in excess of 100 in the first half. With just JamYoung posting a positive rating, TYLOO were handed a 3-9 deficit at halftime.

TYLOO nearly closed the gap off of their four rounds streak on the CT-side but KSCERATO and molodoy stepped up just in time to drag FURIA back in and secure the opening map 13-8. YEKINDAR topped the server on Mirage with 20 frags to his name. FURIA started off on the T-side of Overpass picking up where they left off. After dropping the T-side pistol round, FURIA stole the anti-eco, binning TYLOO's economy and running off to yet another early lead. FURIA had the opening to post double figures in the first half but stumbled at 8-2. The Brazilian core still ended up with a big 8-4 lead in the first half.

TYLOO toppled FURIA's CT-side defenses, closing the gap right out the gate and stealing the lead at 9-8 off of a five-round streak on the T-side. Zero and Jee led the charge with consecutive multi-frag rounds but TYLOO hit a wall when FURIA won a trio of rounds in the middle without letting the C4 go down, crippling TYLOO's economy. FalleN's late half resurgence sealed the deal as FURIA closed Overpass 13-11, wrapping the series 2-0.

TYLOO's loss to FURIA is not projected to damage the Chinese side's VRS points currently but will likely keep them climbing into the IEM Cologne Major's invites range with ease. TYLOO will face FaZe in the lower bracket tomorrow with their backs against elimination and are projected to gain a massive amount of VRS from a win.
