ESEA League S56 Asia: Playoffs teams locked in

Alter Ego; XDM nearly pull off flawless regular season

The regular season of the ESEA League Season 56: Asia has come to a close and 32 teams are locked in after a grueling double round-robin iteration. Towards the top of the table we have Alter Ego and XDM who won 12 out of their 14 matches in the regular season, taking the top seeds for the regional playoffs.

The playoffs will put these 32 teams in a double-elimination best-of-three bracket which concludes with a best-of-five grand-final. The team entering the grand-final from the upper bracket will be rewarded with a map advantage. The winner and runner up book their ESL Challenger League Season 51 Cup #4 slot where sixteen teams battle it out for a regional final slot.

The regional final will host a ruthless single-elimination bracket accommodating the winners of four ECL Cups each from Oceania and Asia. A best-of-five grand-final will determine the team that bags a coveted ESL Pro League Season 24 slot.
