PUG, retake, casual and other game modes deployed

ConneQt re-opens Indian CS:GO servers

CSGO reclaimed its steam page earlier this month

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive returned to steam earlier this month as a standalone title, cutting off its dependency from its successor, Counter-Strike 2. However, developer support for the game including matchmaking, community server browser and official game servers remained shut. Players were left with just a couple of choices- play Global Offensive offline with bots or connect to known community servers through the in-game console using the server address.

While servers Europe and Asia quickly booted up Counter-Strike: Global Offensive with retakes, deathmatch and PUG configs, regions around India did not see any resurrections. ConneQt, an Indian community server operator has now officially deployed Counter-Strike: Global Offensive servers, allowing players to roll the years back and indulge in casual, retake, and PUG game modes among others.

Apart from ConneQt, server options for Indian Counter-Strike: Global Offensive enthusiasts remain pretty narrow. Some Southeast Asian servers hosted from Singapore and Hong Kong might still provide Indian players with a manageable ping (80-120). ConneQt's servers can be accessed through the following link:
