FACEIT bans 100+ accounts over new exploit

Following November 2025's ban wave, the FACEIT Counter-Strike 2 scene has been grinding forward quietly with the expected amount of cheating allegations and secondary account scandals. In a recent post by FACEIT, they announced their discovery of an in-game exploit which would give wall hacks to players.

"We are aware of a new exploit allowing players to see through walls by modifying game files", said FACEIT on X before confirming that 125 accounts were banned for getting caught in doing so. The nature of the exploit and its treatment is still unclear as FACEIT ended their post by saying that they would continue to ban players who use this exploit, making it seem that the exploit still exists in some form.

Ever since Counter-Strike 2's release, FACEIT has been on its toes, shooting down one setback after the other. Their biggest ban wave in recent times came in November 2025 where they claimed to have banned over 11,000 accounts for using multiple accounts on the platform.
