Vitality domination continues as apEX and co. lift BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026 trophy
Vitality's era of dominance doesn't seem like its slowing down soon with the reigning Major champions beating Natus Vincere (NAVI) in the final of hte BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026 to lift yet another trophy. The Rotterdam win is Vitality's third trophy of the year after picking up titles at IEM Kraków 2026 and PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026.
Vitality's pick of Inferno was the series opener with Vitality starting with a two-round lead on their T side despite losing to the force as it was the ropz show for Vitality to see them take the lead. NAVI picked up a much needed pistol on their T side but Vitality answered with the force and it was clean from apEX and co. as they closed things at 13-7 with ropz topping the scoreboard with 27 kills and a 2.07 rating. NAVI picked Anubis as their first pick to catch Vitality off-guard on a map apEX and his boys aren't very active on but it was ropz again leading the charge on a T side start from Vitality. Along with mezii, the duo saw Vitality start with a four round lead and with while NAVI had the chance to take the lead, sloppiness on the T side cost them with Vitality closing out a 13-10 win.
Dust2 kicked off with an incredible ropz quad kill from short to see Vitality put up a strong T side, going 9-3 up. b1t and makazze netted NAVI a crucial T side pistol to stay in the final and clutches from b1t and w0nderful's AWP finding impact saw NAVI bring it to a two round game but it was a mixed buy from Vitality that saw them close things at 13-10 to win the final 3-0.
