Major-deciding VRS update now live

The all important April 2026 Valve Regional Standings update is here and the Cologne Major's invitees are now officially confirmed. In the Global VRS, The MongolZ stay afloat within the top eight at #8 with Vitality still holding a big lead at #1. Spirit, who dropped out of the Global top eight will have to grind it out from Stage 2 of the IEM Cologne 2026 Major. FaZe will miss out on a Cologne Major invite, marking a first for the North American organization.

On the Asian side of things, The MongolZ are well above the rest at #1 followed by TYLOO and Lynn Vision at #2 and #3. Rounding off the Asian top five are Australian teams FlyQuest and THUNDER dOWNUNDER. These four teams will receive a Stage 3 invite for IEM Cologne Major 2026. SemperFi miss out on a Major invite by just a single spot, trailing by ~100 points. Arise is the only Indian left in the Asian VRS and they are just inside the Asian top 30 at #29. Bhavi and co. recently crashed out of the ESL Challenger League Season 51 Asia-Pacific Cup #3 by forfeiting their lower bracket game against just Swing after a 0-2 loss against Chinggis Warriors in the upper bracket.

This VRS update also determines invites for Staked Ranked Ep.2 and LORGAR RANKINGS Season 1. Here are the confirmed Asian invitees for IEM Cologne 2026:
