PGL Bucharest 2026 Playoffs: Preview
Following the group stage's conclusion, the single-elimination bracket for the playoffs is set as eight teams have locked in their spots. After taking down s1mple's BC.Game in their opening match, The MongolZ cleared EYEBALLERS to set up their qualification match against Astralis in the 2-0 pool. The Danes denied The MongolZ a clean 3-0 but the Mongolian side posted a 2-0 win over Wildcard in the 2-1 pool to make the playoffs off of a 3-1 group stage.
Alongside Astralis, FUT cleared the group stage with a flawless 3-0, taking down Inner Circle, NRG and PARIVISION. 3DMAX qualified with a 3-1 record while EYEBALLERS, B8 and PARIVISION scraped through with 3-2s, having dropped a couple of matches. The single-elimination bracket best-of-three playoffs has kicked off with MIBR taking down 3DMAX in the first quarter-final and the action continues with The MongolZ concluding the day's play against PARIVISION in the last quarter-final matchup at 09:30 PM IST.
PGL Bucharest 2026 carries a $1,250,000 USD prize pool with a best-of-five grand-final crowning the winner on Saturday, 11th April 2026. Here are the quarter-final matchups:
