Counter-Strike has been the pinnacle of first-person-shooter esports for a long time now and its biggest, most important events of the year- the Majors almost never fail to deliver. Be it storylines, redemption arcs or sheer domination runs, the Majors amplify the intensity. While most dream to step foot into Counter-Strike's highest level of competition at least once in their career, for some it is second nature. Here we take a look at players who have attended the most number of Majors.

#5. rain

Majors won: 1

Kicking off the top five is FaZe's longest-standing player, rain. He takes the #5 spot on this list with 19 Major appearances. His only Major win came with FaZe at PGL Antwerp 2022. rain played his first Major with London Conspiracy in 2014 at ESL One: Cologne. It was not until 2015 that rain came close to winning a Major with G2 and he was picked up by FaZe soon after. The stellar Norwegian has attended fifteen Majors with FaZe, making him one of Counter-Strike's most loyal campaigners.

Kicking off the top five is Brazilian Counter-Strike legend FalleN. Fondly known as the 'Professor', FalleN is no stranger to Counter-Strike's highest levels of competition. It was FalleN and co. who put Brazilian Counter-Strike on the map with Major wins at MLG Columbus 2016 and ESL One Cologne 2016, marking the region's only Major wins to date. FalleN's Major journey started in 2015 at ESL One: Katowice and has missed out on just a single Major (BLAST.tv Paris 2023) since then.

FalleN has 18 Major appearances under his belt as of today and will push that number to 19 when FURIA takes stage at the upcoming IEM Cologne 2026 Major.

dupreeh was a crucial piece in the Astralis puzzle that took the Counter-Strike world by storm and his Major journey began at the first ever Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Major at DreamHack Winter 2013 with Copenhagen Wolves. He started making deep Major runs immediately with Dignitas and TSM but failed to close out tournaments. His initial Astralis days were uneventful but things escalated rapidly with Astralis's first Major win at ELEAGUE Atlanta 2017. dupreeh went on to win four Majors with Astralis and the team eventually became the first to win three consecutive Major titles in what is arguably one of Counter-Strike's most dominant eras. dupreeh capped off his decorated Astralis campaign with a Major win at Paris 2023 under Vitality.

Having attended 19 Majors and won five of them, dupreeh holds the record for the most Major wins in Counter-Strike history. apEX, with four Major wins is the only one hot on his trail.

Taking the second spot on the list is Danish in-game leader karrigan, who is a perennial contender in the never-ending greatest IGL debate. Having attended his first Major with n!faculty at DreamHack Winter 2013, karrigan took a while to get going but made deep runs with the famous Danish cores at TSM and Astralis a couple of years later. When Astralis brought in gla1ve to replace karrigan, FaZe saw big potential and scooped him up.

Under karrigan, FaZe was widely regarded as one of the most entertaining teams to ever touch Counter-Strike given the magnitude of their comebacks. FaZe was a team that one just could not count out until the very end. His only Major win came at PGL Antwerp 2022 and after FaZe's lackluster 2026, karrigan was out of Major contention until he jumped ship in a shocking move to sail into the Cologne 2026 Major with Falcons.

At the top of the list is apEX, who is currently tied with karrigan at 22 Major appearances. However, his four Major wins split the difference as he looks to claim a hattrick of Majors at IEM Cologne 2026. apEX started his Major journey with Clan-Mystik at DreamHack Winter 2013 and took the scenic route, playing alongside various electrifying French rosters like LDLC, Titan and Envy.

apEX secured his first Major win with Envy alongside kennyS, Happy, kioShiMa and NBK at DreamHack Cluj-Napoca 2015. His second Major win came nearly a decade later at BLAST.tv Paris 2023- Counter-Strike: Global Offensive's last Major. The French IGL is currently on track to complete a hattrick of Major wins coming off of title wins at BLAST.tv Austin 2025 and StarLadder Budapest 2025.

apEX and karrigan are in a league of their own with 22 Major appearances, highest for any player in the history of Counter-Strike.
