The MongolZ fight back on Ancient to move into semis in Bucharest
The MongolZ showed resilience and heart at the quarter-finals at the ongoing PGL Bucharest 2026 event. After going down in the opening map, The MongolZ fought back and reverse swept PARIVISION to move into the semi-finals. The MongolZ will face FUT in the final four as bLitz and co. look to pick up a important LAN win ahead of the IEM Cologne 2026 Major
PARIVISION's pick of Dust2 was the series opener with zweih and Jame leading a solid T side for the Russian squad as they went 8-4 up. A force buy win saw PARIVISION close out their map pick at 13-6 with zweih topping the scoreboard with 22 kills and 2.15 rating. The MongolZ answered back on their pick of Mirage with Techno leading charge that saw The MongolZ take a two round lead on their T side as big pistol rounds from Jame and BELCHONOKK kept PARIVISION in the game.

PARVISION's force buy win on the T side despite losing both pistols on Mirage gave them hope to close out the series in two but a Techno 1v3 clutch brought The MongolZ back in the game and they tied up the series with five straight CT rounds to hold on for a 13-8 win. The decider saw the action move to Ancient as Jame ran rings around The MongolZ defence but a flawless T side saw them target the B site to hit back with a 13-9 win to reverse sweep the series 2-1 and move into the semi-finals.
