Former Revenant player and co. send The MongolZ packing from Bucharest
The MongolZ have been eliminated from the PGL Bucharest 2026 after a 0-2 semi-final loss to FUT. The MongolZ were unable to pick up a single map in the semi-final as former Revenant player lauNX and his team sailed into the final. FUT will now face Astralis in the final of the PGL Bucharest 2026. The ex-Revenant player, lauNX, finished the semi-final series as the highest rated player with a 1.34 rating across the two maps. The MongolZ still have one game left in Bucharest though, as they will take on 3DMAX in the third place decider game.
The MongolZ's pick of Nuke kicked off the second semi-final with bLitz and co. starting with the T pistol but failed to capitalise on that as dropping rounds to low and mixed buys proved costly. FUT sneaked ahead with a 7-5 lead and despite a comeback attempt from The MongolZ off the CT pistol and conversions a swift T side ending saw FUT close Nuke at 13-10. On Mirage, The MongolZ seemed much more comfortable on their CT half and it looked like we would head to the decider after an 8-4 half for bLitz and co. thanks to Techno starting the half with a big 1v3 clutch.

Despite picking up both pistols, The MongolZ fell to a Deagle force buy and that was FUT's way back in as lauNX and dem0n saw FUT hit match point first. The MongolZ held on for overtime but it was FUT taking a 16-14 win to seal a 2-0 win to move into the finals
