TYLOO stun paiN to start Stage 2 with a big win
TYLOO have taken down paiN in their opening game of the IEM Cologne Major 2026 Stage 2. They started their campaign against the higher ranked Brazilian squad in the BO1 encounter and it was the Zero show to see TYLOO go to the 1-0 bracket.
The BO1 took place on Mirage, a comfortable map for TYLOO, and it was paiN with the force buy steal despite losing the T pistol but an early force buy war saw TYLOO answer back. A back and forth half saw neither team be able to find a string of rounds and it was a tied opening half.
Moving to the CT side, it was the Zero and Jee show as TYLOO Started with six on the trot to race to match point. paiN managed to put together three on the trot but that was it was TYLOO quickly closed it out at 13-9.
TYLOO, one of the two Asia-Pacific teams in Stage 2, sees themselves move to the 1-0 bracket while paiN drops to the 0-1 bracket. TYLOO will be back in action later on today for their second BO1.
