TYLOO qualifies for IEM Cologne Major 2026 Stage 2 at the expense of Lynn Vision
TYLOO have booked their place in Stage 2 of the IEM Cologne Major 2026 after beating their compatriots Lynn Vision in the 2-2 bracket game at the IEM Cologne Major 2026 Stage 1. The qualification Chinese derby turned out to be a one-sided affair as TYLOO dumped Lynn Vision out of the Major with ease, dominating their fellow countrymen. For TYLOO, who went 0-2 on the opening day of Stage 1 after two BO1 losses, the win will mean more as the Chinese team has showcased strong mental strength and resilience to turn things around and qualify for the next stage.
Lynn Vision started with the T pistol on their pick of Ancient and converted cleanly but those two were the only consecutive rounds they found on the entire map as it was the JamYoung and Zero show which saw TYLOO convert an 8-4 lead to a comfortable 13-5 win. JamYoung topped the scoreboard with 20 kills and a 1.72 rating.
Moving to TYLOO's pick of Inferno, it was a similar story as it was an even more dominant half to get things going. TYLOO found nine of their T side as Lynn Vision had no answer to TYLOO's executes. A Zero quad kill with the Dualies saw TYLOO put race to map and match point at 12-3. Lynn Vision found a couple of T rounds on the trot to make it a relatively competitive half but it was TYLOO walking away with a 13-7 win on the back of a Five-Seven ace from Zero in the final round. The win means that TYLOO moves to Stage 2 of the IEM Cologne Major 2026 with a 3-2 record while Lynn Vision are eliminated in Stage 1 with a 2-3 record.
