Lynn Vision in do-or-die territory after MIBR loss
Lynn Vision have been dropped to the 2-2 bracket at the IEM Cologne Major 2026 Stage 1 after being comprehensively beaten by MIBR in their qualification game. The loss not only stopped Lynn Vision from making it through to Stage 1 for now but also dropped them to do-or-die territory and they have one last chance to make Stage 2 tomorrow.
The 2-1 bracket game started on the Brazilian team's pick of Anubis where Lynn Vision started with three on the trot thanks to the pistol conversions on their T side. That was about it for the Chinese team as the insani show saw MIBR stomp their way to a 13-5 win. Moving to Inferno, it was more trouble for Lynn Vision as insani led the attack once again which saw Lynn Vision fail to put up a single consecutive round win streak which saw MIBR ease to a 13-2 win to qualify for Stage 2.
Lynn Vision now joins TYLOO and FlyQuest in the 2-2 and will have one last show to make Stage 2.
