ENC 2026: Pakistan recap

The Pakistani candidate for the Esports Nations Cup 2026's regional qualifier is locked in. A total of nine participants locked horns in a single-elimination bracket last week. Legion cleared the qualifier without dropping a single and here we take a quick look back at how things went down.

Ro16

In the only Ro16 game, Team Stranger took down Vortex 2-0, with consecutive 13-0s on Mirage and Inferno. The remaining teams were handed byes due to a lack of participants.

Quarter-finals

Team Stranger who put up a dominant 2-0 showing in the opening round were the first to get knocked out in the quarter-finals. Legion and Pakboyz scored flawless 2-0s while PPeeks and shaitani bachey scraped through with 2-1s.

Semi-finals

In the semi-finals, it was clean 2-0s across the board as Legion and shaitani bachey advance forward with just a single best-of-three win needed to book a regional qualifier slot.

Grand-final

Legion took on PokemoN's shaitani bachey and the latter suffered 12-16 loss on Nuke despite coming back from a deficit and taking the game to overtime. PokemoN and co. were handed a 4-8 deficit in the first half of Dust2 and Legion managed to skip across the line 13-9, closing the grand-final 2-0.

By winning out the Pakistani qualifier, Legion have now confirmed their slot in the broader regional qualifier for the Esports Nations Cup 2026. On the Indian side of things, it was Bhavi's team- Last Dance that advanced to the regional qualifier.
