FaZe knock out GamerLegion
broky found his footing early, giving FaZe a good 5-2 start on the CT-side of Ancient. GamerLegion quickly switched things up to catch up and end the half on an even 6-6 score line.
Winning the first four rounds to start off the second half, FaZe put themselves in a strong position but GamerLegion fought back and kept things close. Faze eventually closed out Ancient 13-11 with broky dropping 25 frags.
On Inferno, acoR and Keoz stepped up for GamerLegion on their CT-side to put FaZe at a massive 2-10 disadvantage in the first half. Faze could not recover in the second half, conceding Inferno 7-13, levelling the series at 1-1.
GamerLegion got off to a 4-0 start on the T-side of Nuke but FaZe fought back winning 6 rounds in a row to close the half 7-5, in their favor. GamerLegion fell apart in the second half, managing to secure just a single CT-side round, as they conceded Nuke 5-13 and ended their IEM Sydney 2023 run in the lower bracket.
