Lynn Vision one step away from ESL Pro League berth
The Chinese derby in the upper bracket final of the ESL Challenger League Season 49 Asia-Pacific saw Lynn Vision come out on top as they beat compatriots TYLOO to move into the Grand Final and now are one win away from securing a place at ESL Pro League Season 22.
The opening map saw TYLOO's T side set the pace on Inferno before Lynn Vision pulled it back to tie up the score at 9-9 after being 3-8 down. Despite a valiant T side from Lynn Vision, it was TYLOO holding on for a 13-9 win to lock in their map pick. Ancient kicked off with Mercury and Jee helping TYLOO take a slight lead at the half but a strong CT side from Lynn Vision saw them walk away with a 13-11 win on the back of a solid team performance to push the match to a decider.
Attacker led an aggressive T side on Train for TYLOO which saw them go 9-3 up before Lynn Vision fought back and hit match point first, making TYLOO hold on as they pushed the map to overtime. It was a double overtime affair which saw CALLM3SU3 and z4kr power Lynn Vision to a 19-15 win to reverse sweep the series 2-1 and make it their into the grand final.
It's not all over for TYLOO though, as they drop to the consolidation final, where they will face The Huns.
