Falcons crash out of Austin Major in Stage 2

Over a million viewers tune in to watch Falcons get eliminated

NiKo's Major curse continues

The second stage of the BLAST.tv Austin 2025 Major was highly anticipated for a couple of reasons with one of them being Falcons. After the NiKo-m0NESY reunion, Falcons have put up stunning performances and in previous interviews, their IGL kyxsan had stated how the team is still fitting m0NESY into the system hinting that with time their performance would only go up.

One of the favorites to go 3-0 into the next stage, Falcons shocked the Counter-Strike with blunder after blunder. They conceded their opening match to B8, followed by a flabbergasting loss against Chinese team Lynn Vision. All of a sudden, Falcons were down 0-2 with the possibility of a 0-3 exit. However Falcons survived and set up their 1-2 clash against MIBR.

MIBR pushed Falcons to the limit and as the game went by, the viewers count kept going up. Towards the end where Falcons were about to get eliminated by MIBR, over a million viewers were watching broadcasts of the match. According to Esports Charts, the game drew in 1,016,315 peak viewers as the Austin Major breached the million viewers mark in Stage 2.

FaZe dominates the rest of the viewership leaderboard in Stage 2 as the community flocked in massive numbers to witness s1mple's Major campaign with FaZe.
