VICTORES SUMUS' EPL Closed Qualifier start crumbles against UR
VICTORES SUMUS have gone down to UR in the opening round of matches at ESL Pro League Season 22 Asia Closed Qualifiers. The Indian team were resilient against the Chinese team but eventually couldn't get over the line.
The Bo3 kicked off on UR's pick of Ancient, where the first half unfolded in a back-and-forth fashion, ending with an even score of 6-6 on the CT side of VICTORES SUMUS. The T-side, usually their stronger side, betrayed them, as they couldn't get a foothold and ended up losing the map 9-13.
The second map Anubis, started in a similar fashion for UR, who dismantled the defences of the Indian side to secure 9 rounds. VICTORES SUMUS fought tooth and nail, with Benzene doing the bulk lifting, but ended up losing the series after a 10-13 loss.
