HOTU reverse sweeps IHC at ESL Pro League S22 Asia Closed Qualifier Playoffs
HOTU continued their strong run at the ESL Pro League Season 22 Asia Closed Qualifier as they reverse swept IHC in style to move into the upper bracket semi-finals after a 2-1 win in the upper bracket quarter-final.
The Mongolian team fought back on their pick of Nuke, after going 5-8 down with a strong defensive half led by cool4st seeing them steal a 13-11 win to start the series. HOTU answered in style, with a 9 round T side on Mirage and a flawless CT side seeing them tie up the series with ease after a 13-3 win. On the decider on Ancient, it was an even more one-sided affair as IHC had no answer to get past HOTU's defence with mizu's 19 kill CT half seeing HOTU go 10-2 up before they closed it at 13-2 with mizu finishing with 25 kills with an incredible 137.8 ADR and a 2.60 rating.
HOTU will face SemperFi in the upper bracket semi-final later on today while IHC will fight for their lives against FengDa in the lower bracket.
