BLAST heads to Netherlands for the next Open 2026 S1 edition

BLAST has announced that they will be moving to Netherlands for their BLAST Premier Open 2026 Season 1, which will take place in March 2026. It will be BLAST's first-ever Counter-Strike event in Netherlands with the Playoffs stage of the event taking place in Rotterdam.

The BLAST Premier Open Rotterdam will take place at the Ahoy Arena in Rotterdam between March 27-29, 2026 and will have 16 teams battling it out for the $1.1 million prize pool. The first half of the event will take place in the studio in Copenhagen before the Playoffs head to Rotterdam. 12 out of the 16 teams will be invited to the event through VRS while 4 will make it through the online qualifiers.

The event will also see BLAST returning to the full LAN setup after the current ongoing BLAST Open London 2025 ran a hybrid format with the group stages being held online.
