Lynn Vision sent home from FISSURE Playground 2 after loss to Virtus.pro

One of the three Asian teams at FISSURE Playground 2, Lynn Vision, has been eliminated from the tournament after a 0-2 loss to Virtus.pro. Lynn Vision become the first team to head home from the event and are eliminated without winning a single game.

Lynn Vision's pick of Dust2 had them in a spot of bother as a seven round streak from Virtus.pro, on their T side, after being 5-9 down saw them hit map point. Lynn Vision held on against three map points to push the map to overtime. Virtus.pro once again held the advantage in overtime but Lynn Vision saw off two map points to head to double overtime and a back and forth affair finally ended with a full house from FL1T and Perfecto getting Virtus.pro home at 19-17.

Virtus.pro raced away to a 5-0 start on their pick of Train on the T side and had the opportunity to build a big lead given they had broken Lynn Vision's economy early on. Perfecto and his boys though, had a couple of sloppy moments which allowed Lynn Vision to tie up the half. A fame quad-kill on the dualies saw him clutch out a 1v1 against Westmelon to hand Virtus.pro both pistols and while z4kr and CALLM3SU3 got a couple of rounds on the board for the Chinese team, Virtus.pro hung on for a 13-10 win to lock in a 2-0 series win.

The loss marks the end of the road for Lynn Vision at FISSURE Playground 2 while Virtus.pro moves into the 1-2 bracket.
