
Skyesports Chennai Esports Global Championship 2025 CS2: Preview
The Skyesports Chennai Esports Global Championship 2025 CS2 LAN is set to kick off later today with six teams from around the world participating in the Chennai LAN event for a prize pool of $49,000. German heavyweights BIG are the biggest name in the event while we also will have French veteran JACKZ in action in India.
Amongst the six teams, we have two Indian teams, in Arise and Wicked Gaming, flying the Indian flag high on home soil while Deep Cross and Nemesis round out the team list, having made their way through the Southeast Asian qualifiers. BIG have announced that they will not have gr1ks in India with the Belarusian AWPer unable to secure a visa and have their young Danish player from their Academy, JBOEN standing in.
The six teams have been placed into two groups of three and the action will kick off with a round-robin group stages with BO3 encounters. The top two teams from each team head directly to the final while there will also be a third place decider game. While the final will be a BO5 encounter, the third place encounter will be a BO1 match.

French team Mousquetaires will take on mixed Asian team Deep Cross in the opening game of the event with BIG going up against Nemesis SEA in the second game of the day. Indian team Wicked Gaming will round out the day with their match against Deep Cross.
