StarLadder reveals prize pool distribution for upcoming Budapest Major

StarLadder have revealed the prize pool distribution for the upcoming StarLadder Budapest Major 2025. The Major will have a total prize pool of $1,250,000 with the Major winner not only taking home the prestigious title but also a hefty prize money of $500,000.

While the winner is set to take home $500,000, the runner up of the Budapest Major 2025 will leave home with a prize money of $170,000. The third and fourth placed teams will take home $80,000 each while the teams finishing fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth will walk away with $45,000 each. Teams between 9th to 16th place will get $20,000 each while the teams between 17th and 24th place will net $10,000 each.

The StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 kicks off on November 24, 2025 with Stage 1. Stage 2 gets underway on November 29,2025 while the Playoffs will be between December 4 - December 14, 2025.
