Chinggis Warriors are the eXTREMESLAND Asia Open 2025 champions
Chinggis Warriors have beaten JiJieHao in the final of the eXTREMESLAND Asia Open 2025 to win the title and lift the trophy in Shanghai. The Mongolian team had to do it the hard way in the final, having to reverse sweep JiJieHao to become champions after a back and forth final. Chinggis Warriors also become the second Mongolian team to win the eXTREMESLAND title after The MongolZ's triumph back in 2023.
JiJieHao started Dust2 with BOROS opening up the B site to see them start with the T pistol. Aggressiveness from JiJieHao saw them race away to a 6-1 start before the Deagle and Five-Sevens of Efire and tikuak saw them steal a pistol buy round that helped Chinggis Warriors fight back and salvage the half with 5 CT rounds. With m1N1 stepping up, the Lebanese AWP-er was the difference as JiJieHao held on for a 13-9 win after a back and forth second half.
A BOROS quad-kill saw JiJieHao start their pick of Inferno with the CT pistol but Chinggis Warriors answered with the force as it was a much tighter start to the second map. With their captain cool4st leading from the front with big multi-kill rounds early on along with tikuak coming in with big quad kills and clutches from ROUX, Chinggis Warriors went on a six round streak. A m1N1 triple on a solo A hold in the final round of the half finally saw JiJieHao pick up their third round in the half to end the half at 9-3 in the Mongolian team's favour.
m1N1 continued with his impact as a triple from him saw JiJieHao pick up the T pistol for them and they built on that to go on to take the lead of the map at 10-9. Chinggis found a couple late rounds to hit match point first but it was m1N1 again with a 1v2 in the final round of regulation on a low buy round from JiJieHao to push Inferno to overtime. A double overtime affair finally saw Chinggis Warriors hold on for a 19-17 win to push the series to a third.
Ancient kicked off with JiJieHao starting with the momentum on their T side early on before Chinggis Warriors pulled it back to a tied opening half with four on the trot to close out the half. Once again it was m1N1 with yet another big multi-kill round that handed JiJieHao the second pistol as they hit double digits first off that. tikuak's openers saw Chinggis Warriors get on the board on their T side and the Mongolian squad closed out the series on the back of seven T rounds to take a 13-10 win to stick the comeback and reverse sweep the series 2-1.
