The Huns eliminate Chinggis Warriors from Bucharest 2026 East Asia Closed Qualifier
The Huns have sent fellow countrymen Chinggis Warriors home from the ongoing PGL Bucharest 2026 East Asia Closed Qualifier after The Huns' 2-0 win in the lower bracket final. The win puts The Huns into the Consolidation Final where they will take on the loser of the Rare Atom - Lynn Vision game.
The Huns' pick of Inferno got the elimination game going with a six round CT streak thanks to a retake in the opening round saw The Huns win out the opening half, taking an 8-4 lead. Chinggis Warriors though, fought back back with a strong CT half of their own to push Inferno to overtime. The Huns managed to keep it clean in overtime which saw them pick up a 16-13 win with controlez top fragging with 32 kills.
The Huns got Nuke going with another streak off rounds thanks to the CT pistol and a 5-0 start helped them take a 9-3 lead with a couple of multi-kill rounds from Efire and ROUX at the very end seeing Chinggis Warriors convert a couple of B hits. A full house from Efire and tikuak on the second pistol saw Chinggis Warriors pick up a big pistol but The Huns were on the board instantly as soon as the guns came out and they wrapped up things at 13-6 to lock in the series 2-0.
