Lynn Vision wins XSE LOOP Cup 1 Season 1
Lynn Vision have beaten compatriots Rare Atom in the final of the XSE LOOP Cup Season 1 to win the $3,000 LAN tournament held in Shanghai, China. The win netted Lynn Vision not only a prize money of $1650 and the trophy but also some crucial VRS points, especially ahead of the upcoming IEM Cologne Major 2026. It was Westmelon and z4KR starring for Lynn Vision in the final with both dropping over 70 kills in the three maps in the final.
The BO5 final got underway on Rare Atom's pick of Ancient which saw Rare Atom start with the lead in the opening half of the series but Lynn Vision fought back as double overtime was eventually needed for Lynn Vision to pick up a 19-16 win with Westmelon and Starry on top of the scoreboard with 29 and 28 kills which was enough to outdo chengking's 34 kill show on the other side. Dust2, Lynn Vision's first pick, was the z4KR show as the Lynn Vision AWP-er dropped 33 frags to see Lynn Vision lock in a 13-10 win thanks to his incredible 2.36 rating performance. If Dust2 was the z4KR show, it was Westmelon stepping up on Inferno as Lynn Vision converted an incredible CT half that saw them go 10-2 up before closing the final with a 13-7 win to pick up a 3-0 win.
The win has helped Lynn Vision move closer to TYLOO in the VRS rankings and are inches away from bagging a Stage 1 invite for the IEM Cologne Major 2026.
