Valve releases Animgraph 2 update
After a couple of weeks of a trial run, Valve has officially given the Animgraph 2 a full release in this morning's CS2 update, putting out one of the more major updates in CS2. The update has reworked on all first-person animations, including weapon deploy, firing, reload, and inspect animations.
Building on the update first launched in July 2025 where the animations saw a big change in 'weapon deploy, firing, reload, and inspect" for all weapons., Animgraph 2 was put out on a beta version in the first week of April and after a couple of weeks' time and positive response from the community, Valve has made the update live for the full release. Along with making the Animgraph 2 live, there were a couple of miscellenous updates as well including a crash fix.
The update also messed up the FAMAS and Glock-18 burst fire modes which Valve quickly corrected and released a small fix update.
