The Huns eliminate Fisher College to stay alive in Astana
The Huns have put up their first win in Astana and kept themselves alive in the PGL Astana 2026 after taking down Fisher College 2-0 in their elimination game. The win also marked The Huns picking up their first map win in Astana.
On Fisher College's pick of Nuke, it was a competitive half to get things going as The Huns went two up on their CT side. A clean T side saw them ease to a 13-8 win as sk0R starred with 20 kills and a 1.51 rating. It was another close start on the Mongolian team's pick of Inferno as they went 7-5 up once again, this time on their T side before a near flawless CT half saw them wrap things up with a 13-6 win.
The win means that The Huns move into the 1-2 bracket, staying alive for one more day in Kazakhstan while Fisher College goes home with a 0-3 record. The Huns will play Monte next in their upcoming elimination game tomorrow.
