NEXVOID, The Huns start MESA Pro Series Summer 2026 with wins
MESA Pro Series Summer 2026 has kicked off today and in the opening round's matches Chinggis Warriors took on The Huns while 5star took on NEXVOID. Let's take a quick look at the first round went down.
NEXVOID 2 -1 5star
The first best-of-three of the day started on Inferno where 5star recovered from a 0-4 deficit on the CT-side to split an even 6-6 half. However, NEXVOID put up an immovable CT-side, dropping just a single round in the second half to take Inferno 13-7 off of MiQ's 2.41 rating CT-side. 5star came out all guns blazing on Cache, sliding an 8-4 half in their favor and securing a 13-10 win to level the series at 1-1.
The decider took us to Ancient where NEXVOID returned the favor, putting 5star at a 4-8 disadvantage. 5star just could not get going on the T-side of Ancient, conceding a 7-13 defeat as NEXVOID wrapped the series 2-1.

The Huns 2 -1 Chinggis Warriors
The second and final game of round 1 saw Chinggis Warriors take on The Huns. The Huns fumbled a strong start on the CT-side of Inferno and conceded a 4-8 half, off of which Chinggis Warriors took the opening map 13-7 with sk0R putting up a 2.10 rating map at an ADR of 111. The Huns once again got off to a strong start on Nuke but kept Chinggis Warriors under check this time, securing a 9-3 lead on the T-side.
The Huns struggled on the CT-side but their mammoth lead pushed them across the line 13-9 to level the series at 1-1. The Huns started on the CT-side of Inferno where Annihilation started his game with a USP triple, off of which he bought an AWP in the second round. Annihilation's AWP did most of the heavy lifting as The Huns scored an 8-4 lead in the first half. The Mongolian AWPer put up a 140 ADR showing on the CT-side.
The Huns did not drop a single round in the second half, closing Inferno 13-4 and winning the series 1-2.
