ex-TALON fall to NomadS after strong start
Despite starting their ESL Pro League Season 22 Asia Closed Qualifier upper bracket quarter-final series against NomadS with a big map win, ex-TALON were unable to capitalise on the early momentum as they were reverse swept by the Mongolian team.
ex-TALON got things underway on their pick of Train that saw the team from Down Under start with a big T side leading to a dominating 13-4 win with Forleks and hazr on top of the scoreboards with 18 and 17 kills respectively. The Mongolian team hit back on their pick of Mirage with a strong CT half that saw them close out a 13-7 win with clouden and hoolig4n stepping up with 21 and 20 kills respectively.
The decider on Inferno saw a force buy win after losing the pistol have NomadS start their defensive half with a four round lead. ex-TALON brough it to a one round game after taking the second pistol and following conversions but NomadS were able to hang on for a 13-9 win with clouden and hoolig4n on top with 24 and 21 kills respectively.
NomadS will now face compatriots Chinggis Warriors in the upper bracket semi-final while ex-TALON will fight for their tournament lives against UR in the lower bracket.
