Skyesports Chennai Esports Global Championship 2025 Grand Finalists locked in
Following Mousquetaires' win over Wicked Gaming in the final game of Group B at the Skyesports Chennai Esports Global Championship (CEGC) 2025, the finalists for the $49,000 LAN event in Chennai have been confirmed. JACKZ's Mousquetaires become the second and final team to make the Grand Finals.
BIG had already booked their place in the finals, after beating Arise, earlier in the day and Mousquetaires' win confirmed both finalists for the event. BIG and Mousquetaires have both sailed into the final with a flawless group stage run, winning both their games. There is little to differentiate between both teams, with BIG holding a one-round difference in the Round-Difference column.
While Group B has been wrapped up with the French team topping the group, there is one game left in the Group A, but it will not affect the Grand Final. Nemesis takes on Arise in the final group stage encounter and with both teams having lost their opening games to BIG, they are out of running to make it to the final.
They still have a chance to make it to the third place decider game though with the winner of the Nemesis vs Arise match set to take on Deep Cross Gaming in the third place decider match. The winner of the CEGC 2025 will head home with a prize money of $30,000 while the runners-up will take home $15,000. The third place team will also get a prize money of $4,000.
