TYLOO sent packing from BLAST Rivals Season 2 by paiN
TYLOO have been eliminated from BLAST Rivals 2025 Season 2 after a 1-2 loss to paiN in the group B lower bracket final. The Chinese team had a shot at reverse sweeping the series but like they did against Vitality the day before, TYLOO imploded late, dropping another massive man advantage situation to see paiN close out the series.
A T pistol and clean conversions saw paiN start Nuke, going 4-0 up before TYLOO got a couple of their own to keep it to a one-round game early on. Individual brilliance from JamYoung saw TYLOO manage four on their CT side and it was a sloppy T side that saw paiN ease to a 13-7 win nqz's AWP finding massive impact to see the Brazilians lock in their map pick.
paiN kicked off TYLOO's pick of Ancient with a clean retake on the A site. TYLOO were running around cluelessly against an impressive defensive hold from the Brazilians as Jee took six rounds to get on the board, with paiN starting with a 5-0 lead. Attacker managed to deny dav1deuS an incredible 1v4 attempt to get TYLOO on the board and a couple of B hits saw TYLOO manage three T rounds before TYLOO closed out the half with two consecutive to go 8-4 up.
After a one-kill half, Jee got TYLOO's CT half going with a big 1v2 on the A site. With Jee finally waking up, TYLOO managed to take the lead and ran away to a 13-9 win, off the back of a stunning CT side. Moseyuh and JamYoung top fragged for the Chinese team with the duo ending with 21 and 20 kills respectively.
A brawl on the B site saw paiN kick off Overpass with a big CT pistol that saw them go on a five round streak. A mixed buy with a Jee opener on the boost saw TYLOO get on the board. TYLOO managed just two rounds on the T side, as it was another sloppy T side from the Chinese team. Mercury and JamYoung stepped up for TYLOO to see them even out the pistols off which they started their comeback. TYLOO brought it back to a two-round game before an A hit saw paiN put up their first T round. TYLOO had the it in their hands to tie up the score but once again, fumbled a 3v5 with snow holding on in a massive 1v2 clutch to see paiN hit map point.
paiN closed out Overpass at 13-10 off the back of a mixed buy with nqz topping the scoreboard with 21 kills. The win sees paiN move into the quarter-finals, where they will take on Passion UA while its the end of the road for TYLOO in Hong Kong.
