Rare Atom brings back trash, Marek to complete roster

Triple signing for Rare Atom

Rare Atom have officially announced the signing 3gl and Trash to complete their roster with Marek joining them as well as the coach. The trio makes the move official from FengDa with Trash and Marek returning to Rare Atom following previous stints.

Marek, a veteran in Chinese Counter-Strike, has previously played for teams like EHOME, After, Invictus, Wings Up, Just Swing and his final team as a player was Rare Atom between October 2025 and December 2025. Marek transitioned to a coaching role with Rare Atom, serving as an assistant coach. He has held the role of FengDa's coach since July 2025, barring a short four month stint with Rare Atom. Under his coaching, FengDa won the ESL Challenger League Season 51 Asia-Pacific Cup 3 and qualified for the ESL Challenger League Season 51 Asia-Pacific Finals.

Along with Marek, Trash also returns to the Rare Atom setup with the 21-year old having spent a couple of months with the team earlier in mid-2025. Trash boasts of a 1.10 rating in 2026 and the AWPer 3gl will also move from FengDa to Rare Atom, marking his first big career move. While the signings have been official just now, Trash and 3gl have been playing with Rare Atom already, having represented the team at the ESL Challenger League Season 51 Asia-Pacific Cup 4. Trash and 3gl will be replacing x9 and Tiger on the Rare Atom roster.

Rare Atom will next be seen in action at the upcoming Hero Esports Asian Champions League 2026 where they will go up against 5star in their opening game.
