NEXVOID book MESA Pro Series Summer Grand-final
The Huns and NEXVOID clashed in the upper-final of MESA Pro Series Summer 2026 after winning their opening matches yesterday. The series started on Inferno where The Huns got off to a strong 4-0 start on the CT-side but were restricted to a minimal 7-5 lead at halftime. Switching over, The Huns struggled on the T-side as NEXVOID hit match point, dropping just a couple of rounds.
The Huns closed the three-round buffer from 9-12 and pushed the map into overtime but NEXVOID kept their cool and put up a flawless overtime showing to take Inferno 16-12. The Huns again fumbled an early lead in the next map, Nuke and ended up splitting an even 6-6 first half but the T-side turned out to be a disaster for NEXVOID. The Huns did not drop a single CT-side round, going 7-0 to hand NEXVOID a 13-6 loss. bexyz who went 14-2 with an ADR of 170, +27.00% round swing and a rating of 3.42 in the second half was at the forefront of The Huns' flawless CT-side.
The decider took us to Ancient and The Huns took their time to get going on the CT-side. NEXVOID started with pistol, anti-eco and bonus conversions but The Huns took five consecutive rounds off of retakes and secured a respectable 5-7 scoreline at halftime. The Huns ran out of steam in the second half right as they hit double figures as NEXVOID ran away with a 13-10 win to close the series 2-1 and advance to the grand-final.
The Huns now move down to the lower bracket where they face 5star or Chinggis Warriors with their backs against elimination.
