5star eliminate CW from MESA Pro Series Summer

In the first lower bracket game at MESA Pro Series Summer 2026, Chinggis Warriors took on 5star who suffered 0-2 losses against NEXVOID and The Huns yesterday. The series began on Cache, the newest addition to the active duty map pool. Chinggis Warriors displayed a strong CT-side, taking an 8-4 lead but NEXVOID matched it to take the game into overtime.

hoolig4n, rate and ariucle stepped up in overtime, as 5star put up a near flawless overtime to take Cache 16-13. hoolig4n topped the charts on Cache with 25 frags to his name with a rating of 1.29.

The second map took us to Nuke where 5star got off to a 5-0 start on the CT-side and converted it into a 9-3 lead. Chinggis Warriors were almost done when they fumbled their anti-eco conversion in the second half but still managed to touch double figures before conceding Nuke 10-13. 5star closed the series 2-0 to stay alive in the tournament.

Chinggis Warriors end their MESA Pro Series Summer 2026 campaign without a single win while 5star square up against The Huns in the consolidation final for a shot at the grand-final where NEXVOID await their opponent.
