Lynn Vision swept aside by FURIA
After a strong end to the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 Stage 1, Lynn Vision, one of the two Asian teams in Stage 2, had a nightmare start to the next stage as they were convincingly beaten by FURIA in their opening Stage 2 game.
A YEKINDAR double helped FURIA pick up a force buy win on their CT side on Nuke which negated Lynn Vision's pistol win as FURIA go 4-1 up before the Deagles and Tec-9s saw the Chinese team answer back with a low buy. Lynn Vision though, were unable to build on that pistol round win as FURIA locked in a 9-3 CT half.
A quick lobby hit saw FURIA even out the pistols on Nuke with the Brazilian team sailing to a convincing 13-4 win off its conversions to start their Austin Major 2025 Stage 2 campaign with a big win. While molodoy ended on top of the scoreboard with 21 kills, no one from Lynn Vision could manage double digit kills, which rounded out a disappointing and sloppy show from the Chinese team.
The loss drops Lynn Vision to the 0-1 bracket in Stage 2 and unfortunately, the likes of HEROIC, Falcons and OG amongst other are already in that bracket, which means it will be a tough road to get out of Stage 2 for the Chinese team.
