sliimey and hazr joins Ground Zero

The duo returns to Ground Zero

Day after leaving SemperFi, the Australian duo of Jared 'hazr' O'Bree and Kalan 'sliimey' Lorenzo have joined Ground Zero with both returning to their former team. With hazr and sliimey joining Ground Zero, the team has rounded out their roster and are currently in action in the ongoing DFRAG Open Series 5.

sliimey was part of Ground Zero earlier in 2026 for period of three between March to May before moving to SemperFi. After a month-long stint with SemperFi, sliimey returns to Ground Zero while hazr comes back to Ground Zero after having spent two months with the team back in February and March 2018. Since then hazr has played for teams likes AVANT, Encore, VERTEX, Bad News Kangaroos, TALON and SemperFi.

While hazr and sliimey joined Ground Zero, it was pz who left the team a day before. tucks, who was in the server with the team for Ground Zero at the Hero Esports Asian Champions League 2026, will move back to a full-time coaching role with the team.

The two recently announced that they will be parting ways with SemperFi which saw SemperFi pull out of the online DRAF Open Series 5 event. While SemperFi might not be playing, hazr and sliimey are in action as Ground Zero are currently taking on Masked Regime in their opening game of Group B at the DFRAG Open Series 5.
