TYLOO sent packing from Cologne Major 2026 by Legacy
TYLOO's IEM Cologne Major 2026 campaign has come to an end after the Chinese team went down 0-2 to Legacy in their 2-2 bracket game at the IEM Cologne Major 2026 Stage 2. TYLOO had a strong shot at making Stage 3, after going 2-1 following the second day's action in Stage 2, but the Chinese team have suffered back-to-back BO3 losses to South American teams to exit the Major in Stage 2. TYLOO ends their Stage 2 campaign with a 2-3 record and exits in 9-11th place.
Jee and Zero helped TYLOO convert a 2v5 in the pistol round as they retook on the B site to start with the CT pistol. Clean conversions against the eco and force saw TYLOO go 3-0 up before the Brazilian squad brought out the guns and got on the board instantly with a quick A hit. It was all Legacy post that as they went 8-4 up at the half break.
A B hit saw TYLOO pick up both pistols on Mirage and conversions once again saw TYLOO bring it to a one round game with Jee picking up a crucial ace with the Galil against the force buy. That was all the Chinese team could manage as Jee failed to get going with the AWP and a hapless defensive hold from TYLOO saw Legacy go 13-7 win with dumau topping the scoreboards with a 22 kill performance and a rating of 1.89.
A saadzin 1v2 saw Legacy kick off TYLOO's pick of Inferno with a B-site retake to start the map with the CT pistol. Legacy stormed to a 5-0 lead before JamYoung and Moseyuh held on in a B site execute to get TYLOO on the board. saadzin's AWP answered back instantly and put up four more rounds before TYLOO found their second and final T round thanks to openers from Mercury and JamYoung but it was Legacy walking away with a big 10-2 lead.
The CT pistol and conversion against the eco was a start for TYLOO as they looked to turn things around but dumau and n1ssim turned around a 3v5 in the first gun round of the half which put Legacy on the way to a 13-4 win. The win locked in a comfortable 2-0 series win for Legacy which sees them qualify for IEM Cologne Major 2026 Stage 3 while TYLOO's Major journey ends with the loss.
